Why a FBN NxG Award?
Entrepreneurship is what lies at the heart of a family business. Every family business started with an idea and one person (or a group of people) who had the drive to make it happen and the willingness to take a risk. The entrepreneurial mind-set is part of the genetic makeup of family business. The NxG Award was created in 2009 with the purpose of championing young family business members who initiated entrepreneurial or intrapreneurial projects. Since its launch, the Award has supported young innovators in their journey. Building on 11 years of successful entrepreneurial stories, the Award fosters a community of young NxG entrepreneurs within the global network
The Prize
Every year, we team up with world class award sponsor to offer finalists and winner executive education and tutorship from the best experts.
As part of the prize, winner and finalists get exposure and the opportunity to present their venture to the FBN community, and demonstrate how next generations can make a difference!
The Prize is also in the process as applicants receive first-hand guidance from jury members and entrepreneurs peers to help them pitch and fine tune their projects.
Finally, applicants join the vibrant international community of FBN Entrepreneurs!
A Community of NxG Entrepreneurs
For a decade now FBN has been fostering a community of NxG Entrepreneurs through the NxG Award. The community encourages intra and entrepreneurial projects and thought exchange within the members. This unique network of entrepreneurial individuals with family business backgrounds brings together a wealth of knowledge and experience of like-minded individuals.
